Nakambale Church

In 1889, Rev. Rautanen built the first church building of Northern Namibia at Olukonda. The church is mainly used during wedding ceremonies now. Next to the church is the Nakambale Cemetery as it is known, it is where Martti Rautanen who died in 1926 is buried, along with some of his family members, and a number of Ondonga kings are laid to rest.
